HOKITIKA BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF MOTION
The Borough Council meets on Tlmrs day evening at 7.30 p.m. Mr Wood has given notice to move: “That an informal poll of the ratepayers be taken on the date fixed for the election of Mayor and Council on the following proposals viz:—
(a) To borrow the sum of £6,000 for the purposo of erecting a new Town Hall and Municipal Chambers.
(b) To borrow the"sum of £4OOO for th© purpose of procuring a wood sta.ve pipe plant, and for the manufacture of wod pipes to be used for the purpose of supplementing the present water supply and for repairs.”
