AVATAROA STOCK SALE
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having field their sale at AVataroa last Saturday. All the cattle came forward in splendid condition, and although competition was slow at times, considering the state of the meat markets, the prices realised must lie considered as entirely satisfactory. For a good line of forward steers £ll was reached. The following sales were made:—On account Ah- A. HevelcTE, 10 steers at £ll, 8 cows at £6 17s (id, 1 steer at £6 15s, 4 steers at £6 17s fid; on account J. Heveldt, 1 steer at £6 17^fid; on account J- AleBride, 1 steer at £ll 2s fid. 1! steers at £ 82s fid, 7 at £7 10s, 12 steers at C 7 ss, 5 at £5 ss, 5 old cows at £4, and 7 at £5 7s 6d.
