Warnambool Council stone crushing plant installed in 1920 at a cost of £7OO was blown to*pieces by a box of dynamite placed in the jams of the crusher. A piece of fuse was found in the vicinity. Pieces of iron weighing on c hundred pounds were blown three quarters of a mile. A cow grazing three hundred yards away was disembowelled by flying iron.
