According to a message from East Quincy, Illinois, four armed bandits held up the Chicago-Alton express, uncoupled the mail car and rifled it of 125 thousan ddollars. In view of the frequency of the success of mail robberies, the postal authorities are of opinion that there is a master mind with an intimate knowledge of post office workings, directing the robberies.
