The aerial mail to Timaru came under the personal notice of the Postmaster General (Mr Coates) yesterday, but he was unable to say whether steps would be taken by reducing the postage to popularise the service. He was watching the matter very carefully.. He was unable to say when t.he aerial mail to Blenheim would be’inaugurated. HEAVY DAMAGES. AUCKLAND, Feb. ‘23. At the Supremo Court, David Guest, farmer, was awarded £720 damages against Hugh Currie for injuries and loss sustained through defendant’s motor car dashing into a seat on the water front, occupied by the plaintiff and his wife.
