AM ATEUR CHAMPIONSHIPS. CHRISTCHURCH, Feb'. 21. The Canterbury Amateur Athletic Championship meeting was held at Lancaster Park on Saturday afternoon, under favourable weather conditions. There was a fairly large attendance. The number of competitors in some of the events was not large, hut interest was well maintained, particularly in the appearance of H. E. Wilson, of who represented the Dominion in the last Olympic Games at Antwerp. The following were the results : Hop, Step and Jump—J. W.
