Underwood) received a telegram from the Prime Minister expressing regret that, as lie is on the West Coast, he was unable to talapart in the farewell to the touring bowlers. All Massey wished them bon voyage, and expressed his assurance that they would worthily uphold the reputation of New Zealand at the heat t of the Empire.
