May Bowles a girl of 16, has been tried by court-martial for being in possession of a revolver, pistol, and a machine gun. She is a sturdy girl of the farming class, and when captured she was wearing a steel body guard under her coat, and was carrying the machine gun wrapped in a waterproof covering. She was also carrying a book entitled “Hotchkiss Portable Machine Gun.”
The girl throughout maintained an attitude of. indifference and refused to plead. Thy findings of the court will ho announced later. *
