The programme of the Grcymouth Jockey Club’s Easter meeting contains a series of some eight events of a total value of £BIO, an increase of over £l°o on the stake money of the previous year. Trial Handicap of G 5 sovs., 54 furlongs. Easter Handicap of 80 sovs.. 6 furlongs. * Hurdles of 140 sovs., 14 miles and 100 yards. Hannan Memorial of 150 sovs., 1.4 miles. Flying Handicap of 85 sovs., 54 furlongs. Metropolitan Handicap of 90 sovs., G.J furlongs. Welter Handicap of 110 sovs., 7 furlongs. Farewell Handicap of 90 sovs. o! furlongs. BKEETON JOCKEY CLUB. The‘Reeftoh Jockey Club’s statement for the recent meeting showed a credit balance of €075 14s sd. Government taxes amounted to £1,122 IGs lid. The gate receipts for the meeting amounted to £44(> 17s—a considerable increase on last year’s figures.

In the programme for the autumn meeting it was resolved to offer £735 in stakes, to include six galloping events and two trots. The principal event, the President’s Hhndieap, of 1J miles, is to he endowed with 140 sovs., a Welter Handicap of KKUsovs, and four cither events of 85 sovs, the trots to he a mile event of 7 Orovs (2.30 Hass) and 1J miles of 85 sovs (3.45 class).
