(Received This Day at 8.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, January 12. The Secretary of the United States Navy, the Hon. Joseph Daniels testifying before the United States House of Representatives Naval Committee, declared that a “Naval holiday” be- 7 tween Britain, Japan and the United States would only breed suspicion, and distrust. It would not secure any permanent reduction of armaments.
