BOWLING.

Tin; Grey Club are sending down five rinks and also a colts rink on Saturday afternoon to play the game for the Ballinger Buckles, postponed before Christmas, owing to rain, The teams to represent Hokitika will be selected this evening. The afternoon will be a general tea. day.

At the New Zealand tournament now in progress at WMlington the Grey Club is represented by two rinks:— Messrs McKay, Truseott, Cochrane, Jones (skip), and Messrs Scott, Topliss, M’lntosh, (Auckland), and G. Blackwood (skip).

On the opening day (Monday) the y each won and lost a game, the scores being: Blackwood 24 to 23 and 20 to 21 ; and Jones 24. to 26, and 29 to 28.
