The Okarito races took place yesterday in perfect weather. There was a large, attendance and capital racing, the gathering proving very successful. Results :
MAIDEN HANDICAP.—FIirt 1, Pe-tri-1 2, Tyilbov 3. Won easily. OKAR.ITO HANDICAP.— Separator 1, Master Gift 2, Tipperary 3. Won easily. W A TARO A HANDICAP: -R übina 1, Lula 2, Kilboy 3. Won .easily. WAIHO HANDICAP—Master Gift 1, Separator 2, Moata 3. Won by a neck. SOUTHERN HANDICAP.—LuIa 1, Flirt 2, Tipperary 3. Won by a length. FAREWEL HANDICAP.—Puritan 1. Moata 2, Bond Dor 3. Won by half a length.
