DE VALERA ON MIS WAY. LONDON, December 20. It is announced in Irish circles that Mr E. dr Valera is aboard the Aquit»nia which is expected at Southampton to-day. It is, believed that he is disguised as. a stoker and is going to Paris to be ready for any conference which may be arranged* to settle the Irish trouble. LATEK. An officer of the Aquitnnia has denied", any knowledge of De Valera beind aboard.
A MILITARY RAID. LONDON, December 20. The military raided one of the Arran Islands, off the port of Galway. They arrested seven men. These were wanted men. The military fatally shot two jother men while attempting to escape. / ■ . SINN FEIN LOSSES. LONDON, December 21. One of the biggest fights yet reported between the Crown troops and Irish volunteers took place at Mullanahowan, in the Tipperary mountains. IA prolonged engagement took place. It followed on an ambush. I It is believed that the volunteers have had ten dead, beside those woundlod and prisoners. It is as yet doubtful how many Crown soldiers have befen killed. A strong force of ambush military with ambulances has been despatched to the scene.

A report from New York indicates he has not left America.
