The Greyinoutb amateurs who are producing “The Geisha” during the coming holidays, tinder the direction of j Mr. Tom Pollard, will stage the opera : at Greymouth on Thursday of next week ■ when the production will he staged for four performances. Later, the opera will be produced at Hokitika probably in the following week, when two performnnoes will be given. Special pains have lieen taken with the rehearsals, and a first class production may be expected. Miss ’Helen Gardiner of Wellington will play the leading part, and included in* the support w ill he Mrs W. Stavcley of Hokitika who is assisting. Mr Pollard with tho pioduction.
