It is with regret we record the death of Mr John Kavanagh, a warder at Sea, View Mental Hospital which took place this morning. The deceased had been struck down with typhoid, and had suffered for some days, the malady having fatal results to-day. Deceased’' was a native of Ireland and 46 years of age. He leaves a. widow and family of six children, the eldest being ten years of age. Deceased was very popular with all who knew him and the news of his death will come as a great shock to a wide circle, who will extend deep sympathy to the members of the family.
