REPORT ON CORK FIRES. • LONDON, D-c 17. The Labour Commission in Ireland, after making their inquires, report tlmt it was the Crown Forces who set fire i.o tho 450 Cork buildings. , . MESSAGES. "*'• LONDON, Deo 16. The Inspector-General of the Irish Constabulary has sent a message to the Roman Catholic Bishop of Cork, expressing “deepest sympathy in the appalling tragedy resulting in the death of Canon Magner. Bishop Cohalan has replied as follows:—I cannot accept, or convey, to the relatives of the murdered Canon, verbal sympathy of an Inspector-Gen-eral whose men are murdering my people' and who have burned my City.”
