I Mr Frederick Gaudin, 48, residing at Bayswater was found dead in bed. with a bullet wound in his breast and a six chamber revolver, one chamber discliarged beside the body. Deceased left a note saying he was suffering from depression. A FINE. WANGANUI, Dec. 7. J. Cameron, licensee of the Red Lion Hotel was fined £5 for underpaying a waitress, and £lO for failing to pay a bonus of 10s per week to a porter.
