POLLARD’S PICTURES. OLIVE THOMAS, MONDAY. As tlie little Quaker girl in “Prudence on Broadway,” one of the last of this favourite actress’s pictures, Olive Thomas gives a fascinating and clever impersonation of the little ewe lamb cast among the elite of New York holding her own among dancing debutantes and hunger wolves. It might have been a beginner’s luck, but when Prudence cleaned them at bridge, they wondered, but they got it back, as Prudence puts it, they did put one over me in a dreadful game, which is called poker. Included in Monday’s programme is a . “Poppy” comedy, “.Fozy Ambrose,” featuring Mark Twain’s famous story. On Wednesday next, Pollard’s star attraction will be Bessie Barriseale in “Josselyn’s Wife.”
