The scores were: New South Wales (Ist. innings); 3 for 224. Taylor 95, Boyle (not out) 94; BardsTey (not out) 20. CRICKET COUNCIL. CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 2. At a meeting of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council to-night, the secretary of the Australian Board of Control wrote in regard to the visit of an Australian team to New Zealand- this season, stating that the matter was receiving consideration, but he did not think he would be in a position to give a definite reply until after the meeting of the Board in Melbourne on December 28th. As Mr Heathcote Williams (President of the Neiv Zealand Association) and Mr C. G. Wilson (chairman of the Management Committee, Wellington Association) will be in Sydney shortly, it was decided to appoint them a committee from the New Zealand Association to negotiate and act in regard to the proposed visit, and to further the arrangements as far us possible. Messrs Raphael, Reese and Peake were appointed to draw up an itinerary for the proposed tour. The Marylebone Cricket Club wrote explaining its inability to send a team to New Zealand this season, which was due to the fact that several of the team who had originally promised to accompany the team, had made other binding arrangements, and it was considered too short to obtain others to fill their places. However, it was hoped that a team might be able to be of service if wanted in 1921. It was decided to inform the M.C.C. that a definite invitation would probably be extended for a visiting team next season.
