fDer Press Association.) CONCLUSION EXPECTED TO- „ DAY. AUCKLAND," Dec 2. The second trial of Samuel John Thorne, on the charge of murdering Sydney Seymour Eyre ,at Pukekawa, was continued to-day. Evidence was given similar to that given at the previous trial, and no fresh facts of importance were brought to light. All the witnesses for the Crown have now been called, and the case will probably conclude to-morrow.
