Fogwell for a match for the sculling championship of New Zealand and £2OO aside on Wairau river on Saturday Dec 18th. VICAR’S SUDDEN DEATH. AUCKLAND, Dec. 2. N Rev. J. R. Burgen, Vicar of St Peters, Onelninga, attended a confirmation service and choir practice last night. He wont home apparently in his usual health, but at 3 o’clock a doctor was summoned and? Burgen died at 3.30 a.m. He served with the Third and Fourth Rifle Brigade in Egypt and France and was gassed at the Somme.
