MR WILSON’S MOVE, '• (Received This Day at 9.45 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Nov 30.
Henry Morgenthau, a former American Ambassador to Turkey is most prominently mentioned as the representative whom Mr Wilson will probably choose to mediate between Armenia and Kemalists. Mr Wilson pointed out in reply to Mr Hyman, President of the League of Nations Assembly, that United States could not use force in any project for tbe relief of Armenia, without the consent of Congress, which was •not yet convened. The President further pointed out that he could not forecost Congress’ decision in any event. A report from Geneva states M. Leggue is considering the possiblity of sending an international army to Armenia under Major-General Wood. Mr Baker, Secretary of War commenting on the report said the idea was novel, but he did not indicate whether he approved. State Department officials refused to comment.
