AUCKLAND, Nov. 30

The second trial of. Samuel John Thorn, on a charge of .having murdered Sidney Seymour Eyre, of Pukekawa, on August 24th, was continued at the Supreme Court to-day. Mrs Eyre was in the witness box for about five hours, during the major portion of which she was under crossexamination. The facts adduced were similar to those given in evidence at the previous trial. Philip Sidney Eyre, aged sixteen, was another witness heard to-day. The case was adjourned.
