aiwi-iuea fat stock sale. The fortnightly fixture at the above Yards was hold yesterday when GO head of prime South Cattle were offered to competition. There was a full attendance of buyers and stock being well finished they were keenly competed for with the result that prices which usually fall at this season of the year were fully maintained and if anything were firmer than at the last fixture at these Yards. , Messrs W. Jeffries and Co, sold as follows:—On account Mr J. Condon, 3 bullocks, at £25/2/6, 2 at £25/-/-, 4 at £24/15/-,4 at £24/2/6, 3 at £23/10/-, 3 at £23/2/6, 4 at £2O, 3 at £lB, 3 at £1.7/10/-, 1 prime cow at £2O, 2 at £lB/10/-, 1 at £l6/15/-, 1 at £l4, 2 prime heifers at £l9, 3 at £lB/5/-, 3 at £lB/17/6,3 at £l7. On account. Mr T. Condon Jnr., 2 Cows at £l4/17/6, 2 at £l4, 2 heifers at £l7/17/6, 3 at £l3/2/6. On account Sirs Mulvaney, 1 prime cow £22/10/-, 1 at £2O/2/6, 1 prime heifer at £2O/2/2/6. On account Mr A. Scott 1 bullock at £22/17/6, 1 at £l7/2/0. Messrs M. Houston and Co report: We held our usual sale at the above yards yesterday, our yarding consisting of 17 head of cattle. Competition was good and prices fverb on n par with those of last sale. We sold 4 light bullocks at £l3/5/-; 3 at 13/17/6, 1 heifer at £l3/17/6, for Mr P. Douglas; 2 bullocks at £2O/10/2 heifers at" £ls/17/6, 3 bullocks at £ls/15/-, 3 at £ls/15/- for Mr D. Died- , richs, COMMERCIAL. LONDON, Nov. 15. ’ Tho New Zealand and Australian Land Company’s loss on the year’s work 1 Ing was £176,079. They received £9,460 profit on the Government’s resale of wool and transferred £320,000 ' from the contingency fund to profit and 3 ' loss account and carried forward £1676.
