[mill PRESS ASSOCIATION.- —COPYRIGHT.J THE COUNCIL. WELLINGTON, Nov. 10. The Legislative Council met at 11 a.m. The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Bill was read a second time. The Apiaries Amendment, Tramways Amendment and Anzac Day Bills wore put through all stages and passed. THE HOUSE. Tiie House met at noon. The Government Life Insurance Amendment Bill arid Cook Islands Amendment Bill were introduced by Governor’s Message and read a first time. Tiie following Bills were put through tie final stages and passed—Apiaries Amendment, Tramways Amendment, Committees of Inquiry Amendment, and Anzac Day. The House agreed to the report of the managers at the Conference with the Legislative Council on the Legislature Amendment Bill, who recommended the clause lie struck out giving civil servants the right to stand for Parliament. The Premier said a Bill would lie brought down next session to deal this question. The Finance Bill was put through all stages. The House rose at 2.2 a.in. till 10.45 this morning.
