COUNTY ELECTIONS
WESTLAND COUNTY. The Westland County Council elections took place yesterday. In the Central and Southern ridings there was 3 an election for three Councillors in each ‘ riding, while tho poll in regard to the 3 machinery loan took place over the 1 whole county, tho voting in the northern riding being very small for this ' poll, owing t 0 their being no interest ’ of a Council election t 0 attract voters to ‘ the poll.
