STORY OF DIVORCE FRAUD. LONDON, Aug 20. Summonses for conspiracy to defeat tho ends of justice in connection with a divorce suit were heard at Bow-street yesterday against Nellie Greenough, of Bolton, and Sam. Appleton, of Bolton. Mr Evans, for the Director of Public Prosecutions, said Mrs Greenough on December Ist, 1919, obtained a decree nisi against her husband on evidence of cruelty given by a man. named John, Lewis, and of The King’s Proctor found that “ John Lewis” was Appleton, who had been living with Mrs Greenough since March 1919. In the light of these facts te decree was rescinded ..on June 28th. Appleton was alleged to have admitted the offence to the police. The hearing was adjourned to to-day i'oi the attendance of witnesses from Bolton.
