I’ROrOSAL to MEKT POSITION. WELLINGTON, November 1. Mr Seddon M.P., (Westland) introduced a deputation representing nine of tip. smaller Hospital Board districts to Rt. Hon. W. F. Massey, Minister of Finance, asking that provision be made until 'next session ft>r the increased subsidies to the Charitable Aid Boards as the Government contemplates dropping this session th,. Hospital Bill which dealt with the matter of subsidies on a proportional subsidy basis. The proposed schedule was put before Mr Massey who gave the deputation i,. favourable reply to the satisfaction of the deputation.
