A London cable message to the Australian papers states that a slump has arrived in West End tailoring and in Bond Street. Porkers, £5 to £5 10s ; heavy porkers £5 15s to £6 ss; average price per lb. Is 3d to Is 4d. A fairly large entry of store pigs came forward, and they met with a very firm demand. Big stores made good values, and a large number of weaners sold very well. Values were as follows: —Large stores, £5 11s, to £6 10s; medium stores, £4 to £5 10s; small stores, £3 to £3 18s • weaners, £2 6s to £3 2s; very small weaners, £2 to £2 2s sows in pig £l2.
