The Arbitration Spirit. In no other country in the world have more genuine efforts been made to create tribunals which would hold the scales of justice evenly and if these attempts at industrial perfection have failed, as it generally admitted, it may be left to the genius and good sense of Australasians to devise better methods of providing such a scheme for adjustments as will reasonably assure not only a square deal for the two immediate parties concerned, but fair play for the community which is oft-times squeezed to the ground as if between two nullstones.
