LATE LOCALS.
The AH Saints Tennis Club are hol.ling one of their popular balls in the Supremo Hall on Thursday evening <’f next week, with a juvenile dance the following evening. Complete arrangements, have been made, including die best Y>f music, for a successful gathering. The Leap Year dance held at the Supreme Hall was a highly successful function. Excellent music was supplied by Mr and Miss Wylie of ICanieri, a special v o te acclaiming the audience’s appreciation of their programme. Tlie lady M.C. proved highly efficient and the Honourable Court of Her Majesty the Queen of Spinsterland collected the sum of two guineas in fines, thanks to the vigilant efforts of the lady constable whose appearance wac “Metropolitan” and action likewise. A very nice supper was served, :nd dancing kept going merrily one and all voting that the financial effort of raising £H 8s 9d was well worth while. A further Leap Year dance was demanded within one month from - the date.
