(Reuter’s Telegram.. 1 ■ HUNGER STRIKER DIES. LONDON, Oct. 17. The first death among the Sinn Fein s, who for over 63 days ,have been on hunger strike in Cork Gaol has taken place. The prisoner who succumbed is Michael Fitzgerald. The authorities saw' he was for nine weeks a,waiting a trial on a capital charge. SHOOTINGS AT FOOTBALL MATCH. ~ LONDON, Oct. 171 There was shooting by soldiers as the result of a spectators fight that occurred between some Nationalists and Unionists in Belfast after a football match. The military fired first on the Nationalists.- The firing dispersed them. The soldiers then fired on the Unionists. The shooting killed three persons. THREAT OF REPRISALS. V' LONDON, Oct. 16. X Following a threat of reprisals, tho Sinn Feiners released uninjured Magistrate Moore and Mr Hyde. SHOOTING IN DUBLIN. LONDON, Oct. 17. ~ Two more murders of civilians have occurred in Dublin. There Were also a number of other casualties. These are alleged to have happened through the auxiliary police firing on troops, and vice, versa, in the darkness in Parnell Square through a mistake. Regarding the shooting by soldiers of 3 persons (three fatally) in Dublin streets ,a police officer, Sergeant Rocho .who has been summoned from Tipperary to Dublin, identified a certain civilian, w r bo was killed in the shooting at the Bank in Philipsbore Street. Roche stated the civilian was John Tracey, a notorious leader in many raids in the South of Ireland. After the shooting of Tracey, a party of armed civilians shot Roche dead on 'Sunday afternoon in a Dublin street.
