WEDDING BELLS.

A quiet but pretty wedding was celebrated at Holy Trinity Church, Greymouth, on Wednesday afternoon, when Miss Mary Bishop, third daughter of Mr and Mrs Bishop, of Turumaha Street, was united in the bonds of matrimony to Mr Thomas Growcott, of Buatapu. The ceremony was performed by the llev Mr Bur Chas, of Hokitika. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, was attired ip a pretty cream serge costume and black crepe do chine hat, apd Carried a pretty bouquet of pink and white sweet peas and maiden half fern, whilst the bridesmaids, Miss Lena Bishop (sister of the bride) and Miss Jean BosCVear, of Hokitika, wore pretty dresses of biscuit coloured voile and black hats, and carried pretty bouqUots. Tho bridegroom was. supported by Mr J. Williams ns best man, and Mr 0. lhglis carried out the duties of groomsman. The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a gold brooch, and to the bridesmaids gold brooches set with pearls and rubies. The bride’s present to the bridegroom was a handsome pocket wallet. After the ceremony the‘wedding party nnd friends adjourned to Fatish’s Teh Rooms, Where the wedding breakfast was held. Mr and Mrs Growcott left later in the afternoon for Murchison and the North, where their honeymoon is to he spent. They carried with them the very best wishes of a large circle of friends for their future happiness and prosperity.
