SLIP ON "CANTERBURY RAILWAY. I The Chief Postmaster advised this morning: —Christchurch advises that the Waliine coneneted at Christchurch this morning with the West Coast ex- 1 press, -but owing to a slip on the i ailway line between Avoca. and Arthur’s Pass, tliere is no chance -of the mails getting through to-day. If the siip is cleared in time the coaches will run tomorrow to and from Otira. There will therefore he no mail from Christchurch to-night. \
