POLLARD'S PICTURES. WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY NEXT. .°n Wednesday next Pollards’ star picture will be “Mandarin’s Gold” a big World Film Drama starring the popular Kitty Gordon assited by Warner Oland and Irving Cummings. Tin’s sumptuously dressed stage and society beauty appears in this fascinating story as a woman of the smart set, who gets into debt through gambling, and conceives the horrible idea of' selling a girl to a rich Chinese Mandarin. On Thursday next Clara Kimball Young in “The Savage Woman” will be Pollard’s star attraction. “The Savage Woman” shows Clara Kimball Young in vastly different role from her frequent chosen society plays. By reason of her unusual beauty, this charming and versatile actress is admirably suited to the role of Renee, the girl born and reared in the wilderness of Abyssinia. A special feature in Pollards’ on Wednesday is a big centurfy comedy entitled “Lonesome Hearts and. Looney Lions.”
