Striking official figures illustrate the recovery of German trade. Last year imports totalled 321 billion marks and exports ten billion. From Ist January to 31st May of the current year, tbe imports were 28j and exports 23 2-3. The exports exceeded the imports since March. Exports for May were over double that of January. Export figures, however, throughout' include unspecified sums on account of reparations.
