HARI HART STOCK SALE.
Messrs M. Houston and Co. report ns follows: —We held a sale of Store Cattle at our Hari Hari Yards on Saturday last, there being a good attendance of buyers and competition was good throughout. The bulk of the yarding consisted "of cows and young stock, there being no well grown bullocks to offer. We sold on account of Mr D. Graham, 7 empty cows at £7/2/6; on account of J. Collett; 2 2yr. steers and 4 2yr. heifers at £B/5/-; on account H. H. Adamson 1 (Bull at £7/12/6,' 1- cow at £B/5/-; on account of A. Sutherland 2 cows at £B/7/6, 6 yearling calves at £3/2/6; on account of J. C. Hondo 1 springer at £l2, 1 heifer at £6/12/6, 2 at £5/10/-; on account of Wm. Searle, 3 heifers at-£6, 1 2yr. steer at £6, 9 yearlings at £3, 1 heifer at £ll/12/6, 2 at £7/5/-, 8 empty cows at £7; on account Ferguson Bros 28 yearling steers at £5; on account of client 9 lßmos. mixed at £6/10/-; on account of J. Searle, 1 hack at £5; on account of M. Patrick, 1 horse at £10; P. Hewer 1 horse at £B.
RIMU STORE CATTLE SALE. Messrs M. Houston and Co report.:— We held a special sale of store cattle at Rimu yesterday which was most successful. There was a good yarding of grown cattle and competition was keen for all good lines. We sold on account of S. H.vndman, 5 3-yr bullocks at £ll 2s 6d, 3 2;’-yr steers at £B, 1 18-mos steer at £6 7s 6d, 2 cows at £B, 3 18-mos steers at £6; on account of F. Vroblfski, 5 18-mlos heifers at £3 19s; on account of J. Inglis, 1 3-yr bullock at £ll 10s, 1 at £9 ,1 cow at £8 12s 6d, 1 at £3' 10s, 1 21-yr steer at £8 10s, 1 at £6 ss, 1 heifer at £6,1 at £3 2s 6d; 0 n account of M. Keenan, 1 cow at £5 12s 6d, 1 heifer at £3 15s, 1 at £5 ss, 2 18-mos steers at £4; on account P. Iveenan, 1 cow and calf at £9 10s.; on account of J. Crowley, 2 2-yr steeifc at £7 7s 6d; 1 fat heifer at £9 12s 6<ft; on account of J Boyd, 2 18-mos steers at £5; on ac- y count'of S. Knowles, 2 3-yr bullocks at £l3 17s 6d, 1 18-mos steer at £4 15s.
