POLLARD’S PICTURES.
MONDAY
On Monday next Pollards present a big Pathe featuring Fanny Ward in “The Cry of the Weak,” an enthrilling and interesting story with a big gripping and humanitarian theme. Does a wife’s past belong to her husband. She tried to tell Him—he wouldn’t listen. Yet when the same past brought tragedy stark-starring and naked—what was lie to say? He had to choose—and quickly—and love guided him. Fanny Ward says this is the best acting of her career. “The Cry of the Weak” is a screen masterpiece—better than “The Cheat” and “Common Clay,” a human document, a vivid page of real life, showing how a girl rose superior to her slums environment. Scenic lovers will welcome another of Outing Chester’s wonderful scenics which will be also shown on Monday entitled “Getting Cassair’s Goat.”
