experiments carried out at lluakura and Weraroa State Farms proved that calves can he reared to advantage without the use of either skim, milk or whey, both" of which are becoming very valuable for other purposes. The food recommended is a balanced ration of cereals—not just one by-pro-duct such as linseed meal. Corcmilk the finest cereal food made for calves, combines in •perfect quantities all the necessary food elements required to rear healthy, well-proportioned animals, costs less than inferior substitutes because it goes farther and lias a more beneficial effect. Mr R. Highet, a well-known dairy farmer of Claudeboys, Temuka, says:—“After years of experience with calves I must say that Cercmilkj is the best calf food I have ever used.” Ceremilk is sold by all Stores.
