MINISTER FOR EDUCATION. BLENHEIM, September 21. Hon.. C. J. Parr' arrived last night from Nelson and was accorded a civic reception, and waited upon by a deputation which asked for two new primary school sites, in place of the present one and additional classroom accommodation and hostel for Marlborough college. The Minister was also "requested to bring before Cabinet the desirableness for the early completion of the South Island main trunk railway and road to link up Blenheim with Westport. ■/'""To-day thg Minister itj visiting the schools and college and will open a new . public maternity hospital. He returns to Wellington to-night.
