Keuter’s Telegrams SINN FEINERS SURPRISED. LONDON, Sept.' 19. A strong force of troops surprised and surrounded Sinn Fein volunteers drilling in Wicklow mountains. A sharp fight followed in which bombs and rifles were used. The Sinn Feiners surrendered after one was killed and several wounded.

LONDON, Sept. 20.
A large number of Si nn Feiners have been arrested near the village of Ennismore. The authorities, having 'learned that drilling was In progress, mobilised a fleet of motor lorries and filled them with troops. .The Sinn Feiners, though (they were ouitnjumbered, decided to resist arrest. Forty men were captured and placed on the motor lorries. An armoured car was used to assist the military corps. Another account states that the coup was effected by the police auxiliary corps, consisting largely of ex-servioe men.
