United States mint reported United State gold production for 1919, totalled 3,918,628 fine ounces valued at $60,333400. The silver production was 56,682, 445 ounces valued at $63,533,652. BETROTHAL. NEW YORK, Sept. 17. The “Evening Sun’s” London correspondent learns that the engagement of the Duke of Connaught to the widowed Lady Essex, formerly Miss Adele Grant of New York, will be announced shortly.
