The Coroner’s Amendment Bill was read a second time. Lyttelton Harbour Board Loan Bill was put through the final stages and passed. The Council rose at 2.42 p.m. THE HOUSE. The House met at 2.30 p.m. The whole of the sitting was taken up with a debate on the Immigration Be- j striction Amendment Bill, which proyoked a lengthy discussion. The Bill was road a second time and the House rose at 12.20. a.m.
