The military’s rigid enforcement of the Curfew order in Belfast resulted in a peaceful night. The streets were deserted till five o’clock this morning. Afterwards the police fatally shot a man trying to escape from a looted public house. Sinn Feiners with stones and rifle shots attacked trams conveying wprkjnen to' ship yards, fierce iiQtijig followed ip which the military flped spvepil vpjleys.
