Owing tp the danger of disaffection many emigrants were sent by the Amir to remote districts beyond Hindukfsh. ■ Only a few Bolshevik agents now remain in Kabul and their movements are being restricted by the Afghan Government. The British Government is feeding and clothing the emigrants who struggled hack through Khyber.
MESOPOTAMIA NEWS. DELHI, Sept. 1. Advices from Bafhdad say it is necessary to withdraw civil officials from Howarduz, owing to outbreaks. Samarra has been atacked by local tribes who were repaired- The railway to Mosul is temporarily interrupted. The sitiiafion in Kirkna' area is improved. Wg regained (ouch from Kirkna with a detachment at Kingarbaii.
