THE COUNCIL.
The Legislative Council met nt 2.30 p.m. The following second readings were teamed, Licensing Amendment Bill, Lyttelton Harbour Board Loan Bill, Napier Harbour Board empowering and Loan Bill, Ocean Beach Domain Amendment Bill, Masseurs Registration Bill, and Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Amendment Bill and read a third time. The Law Amendment Bill, Crimes Amendment Bill and Statutes Repeal Bill were put through Committe the latter having a new clause added extending the duration of the Mortgage Extension Act 1919, to June 30th, 1921.
THE HOUSE. The House met at 2.30 p.m. After dealing with questions the House discussed various committee re-
ports till 5.30. On resuming at 7.30, the House agreed to the amendments made by the Legislative Council in the Statutes Repeal Bill arid Masseurs Registration Bill. The House went into Conunitoe on the War Regulations Continuance Bill At 11.35 p.m. McCombs moved to report progress. This was defeated by 56 to <. The Hill was through Committee at 1.15 a.m. and the House adjourned.
