In the hundred metres swimming race Kahnnamoku won in 60 2-5. It was ordered to he resw.um owing to Ross Keelolia shutting in Herald. In the swimming events, the cold cheerless weather in the open air baths and bitter coldness of the water handicapped the Australians. Hewitt’s failure in the Marathon was due to the cold rain, causing cramp. ANTWERP, August 24. The Olympic cross-country resulted, (Jurrni, (Finland) 1; Backwun, (Sweden) 2; Luma.tam.en, (Finland) 3.
