ANTWERP, Aug. 19. Tlie 110 metres hurdles was won by Thompson (Canada) in 14 4-ssecs. The 200 metres was won by Hunt (N.S.W.) Davidson qualified for the 440 yards final. ANTWERP, August 18. In the 110 metres, hurdles Barroh Ameriest) ran second, Murray (America) third, and Wilson New Zealand (fourth) Won by 14 yards. In the ten thousand metre walk, Permon (America) ran second and Gunn (Britain) third. (Received this day at 8 a.m.) ANTWERP, August 18 The final of the long jump resulted. Petersen 1, Johnsen 2, Abrahamssen 3. All were Swedes. Tho winner jumped seven metres fifteen centimetres. In the tug of wr, England beat Belgium by two pulls to nil. Tho winners meet Holland for the final.
