The Juries Act Asienduumt, (lion McGregor), was read a third time. The Couneii rose at 3.10

THE HOUSE. The House met at 2.30 p.m. The afternoon was spent iti discussing the Defenco Department report, which the Minister land on the table. At the evening sitting the following Bills wore passedWanganui Borough Empowering; Hawkes Bay Rivers Amendment; Statutes-Repeal; Agricultural and Pastoral Societys’ Amendment. The House rose at 10.53 p.m.
