A GAME DRIVE. (Received this day at 9,2 Q n-.PL) CAPETOWN, Aug. 15
Fiye hundred Europeans and five thousand natives assembled at Empangeni, Zululand, to commence a monster game drive, owing to the prevalence of Tsetse fly among game, causing the deadly stock disease trypano. Some settlers intend to carry the drive across Umfolosi River i\jto the proclaimed area, in defiance of the Government, regulations.

Although polling will not take place till November, a great prohibition campaign is in progress in Scotland. 4 Bill on similar lines to the New ]apd law provides a bare majority decision on the issues of continuance, reduction and prohibition. Both sides are putting their best efforts into the fight, spending much money, Prohibition advocates include many Americans.
PETROL FIRE. Received this day at 9.20 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 15
An explosion occurred on the barge Dorcas, carrying to Woolwich 450 barrels of petroleum. Both cargo and barge were totally burned. Six other barges were set afire and damaged. The captain of the Dorcas is missing. Two sailors were sent to hospital suffering from severe burns.
